For 2021, offices with an area of 14-110 m2 are rented with a monthly rental fee of 63 TL/m2 and a monthly operating expense of 21 TL/m2. In addition, priority is given to all Teaching Staff companies whose partners are members of Ege University in terms of leasable space, and the rental price will be applied as 54 TL/m2-month. Operating expenses covers; general lighting, heating, insurance of common areas, secretariat, maintenance, repair, general cleaning, environmental regulation, fire alarm, parking lot, security, etc.

“Public institutions and organizations and university personnel whose services are needed as researchers and administrative personnel in the activities in the Region can be employed on a permanent or part-time basis with the permission of the institutions they work for. The incomes of part-time lecturers, lecturers, research assistants and experts for these services are excluded from the scope of university revolving fund. Personnel who will be permanently employed are given unpaid leave by their institutions and their relations with their staff continue. Of these, the retirement rights of the personnel subject to the Republic of Turkey Retirement Fund Law No. 5434, for the time they spend here, are reserved, provided that the provisions of Article 31 of the Law No. 5434 are complied with. It is not obligatory for an Instructor who wants to cooperate with the industry in his field of expertise to establish a company in TDZ. EBILTEM TTO Unit can carry out this cooperation with their guidance.
Yes. Submission of the project is entirely a decision to be made by the Project owner institution/organization. The fact that the project is prepared or supported to be submitted to SME or TUBITAK or other support programs is not sufficient for it to be included in the TDZ. The important thing is that the project can be a higher priority project in terms of its R&D quality compared to other projects.
